As Operations Manager for Shambaugh’s Electrical Group, Matt works closely with both internal and external customers, ensuring optimum project and operational performance along with implementing flexible strategies to reinforce short term and long term success. Aside from helping to ensure project management training, performance and efficiency, Matt monitors the financial integrity of each project from inception to completion.
Additional responsibilities include managing both the Muncie operating location and the Electrical Service Group. It is Matt’s objective to deliver the highest quality results to each customer, with a focus on efficient service responsiveness, so that we meet and exceed expectations–on-time | every-time.
Matt has over 27 years of experience in the electrical industry. He attended IPFW and studied electrical engineering. His electrical qualifications includes multiple certifications and training accolades:
- Journeyman Electrician, current with IBEW Local 305
- 10-Hour and 30-Hour OSHA Certification
As Matt transitioned through various roles of increasing responsibility from apprentice, journeyman, foreman, general foreman, site superintendent, project manager, and to his current position of Operations Manager, his electrical background has broadened to include expertise in power distribution, lighting, motor controls and PLC’s, low-voltage, data, and fire alarm, and emergency and standby systems. Accustomed to working in both Design-Build and Plan-Spec environments, Matt’s major market sectors of experience include industrial, grain, food process, institutional, commercial and healthcare working on numerous projects with each of the following organizations:
