Shambaugh was the single-source provider for a corporation-wide renovations project for North Putnam Community School Corporation (North Putnam). Through relocation, reconfiguration, and replacements, we created and delivered an innovative learning environment and improved building functions to help the school corporation reach their goals.
Client Objectives
To update their schools in ways that would better serve the students, parents, faculty, staff, visitors, and taxpayers throughout their community, North Putnam needed corporation-wide renovations. They wanted to enhance all schools within the system which includes one high school, one middle school, and two elementary schools.
Solutions
Shambaugh self-performed all mechanical, electrical, temperature controls, security, and communications disciplines. Key solutions included:
Relocation and Reconfiguration

New Athletic Building
Located at the south end of the high school football field, this new building includes home and visitor locker rooms (large and small versions), spectator restrooms, laundry, trainer room, concessions, and storage.
We also redesigned parking areas to provide enhanced safety for the students and more efficient traffic flow.
