General Motors Corporation sought to build a new Truck and Bus Assembly Plant in Fort Wayne, IN.
Scope of Services
Shambaugh performed mechanical services for the facility, made up of the 2-million-square-foot paint and body shop and main assembly areas. To complete the work, we provided 140 on-site pipefitters and plumbers for 18 months. Due to our exceptional mechanical work, the client also selected us to provide electrical and fire protection services.
Our scope of work included:
- Underground utilities for the power house
- 29,000 lineal feet of complex process and utility piping
- Miscellaneous HVAC work
