Scope of Services
Shambaugh provided conceptual and final food processing engineering and design for this new facility. Shambaugh designed the commercial refrigeration systems, the electrical and process control systems, and performed the conceptual layouts and master plan for the freezer warehouse expansion.
Solutions
- Performed a material handling analysis evaluating capital and operational costs for various warehouse options
- Utilized computer simulation to compare warehouse options. Determined which warehouse option provided optimal net present value
