Regional Safety Manager
A true construction health and safety leader, Jason plays a key role in driving forward our safety program. His goal is for the safety division to be an accessible tool for all employees, helping them perform their jobs as safely as possible. Through comprehensive employee training, proper pre-planning, and constant hazard controls, employees can live up to the goal to always “Be Vigilant”.
Jason is an experienced trainer, manager, and safety professional. Throughout his more than decade-long career, he has served as a Safety Specialist, On-site Safety Oversight, and Corporate Safety Coordinator.
He joined Shambaugh in 2018 as the Regional Safety Manager supporting MEP construction operations from Fort Wayne, IN. Since then, he has worked on many key projects for some of our most prominent clients, including leading healthcare providers, auto manufacturers, steel producers, and more. In addition to serving as a safety professional, Jason has also spent extensive time developing and delivering training programs and is an OSHA Authorized Trainer.
Jason holds a number of credentials from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), including Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC), and Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT). He has also served on the Fort Wayne Construction Committee as Chair of the BCA Safety Committee. Further, Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Findlay.
Jason and his wife have two daughters. Together, they enjoy the outdoors, going on adventures, and exploring historical and cultural attractions.
