Isabel is responsible for promoting the Shambaugh corporate safety program in a manner that contributes to the overall safety of all employees. She works to encourage the use of safe practices, increase employee engagement, and help reduce the occurrence of injuries and incidents. 

In addition, she assists with the Injury Illness Prevention Program by analyzing and tracking behaviors in a shareable and actionable format, and continually looks for opportunities to share successful safety, quality, and production tools, techniques, and methods. 

Expertise

Isabel has a bachelor’s degree in public health from Purdue University, with a concentration in both health policy and management and behavioral social science, and a minor in organizational leadership. 

She is OSHA-30 and OSHA-510 certified and is a certified Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) and Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). Using her expertise as a resource, she has also achieved Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt certification.

Isabel enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include pottery, biking, and listening to podcasts.
