David promotes the Shambaugh corporate safety program in a manner that contributes to the overall safety of all our employees. In addition, he supports the safety culture, encourages the use of safe practices, increases employee engagement, and helps reduce the occurrence of injuries and incidents.
Expertise
David began working in the construction industry in 2002, and joined Shambaugh’s Havel division as a Local 166 journeyman HVAC service technician in 2014. From this position, he moved onto various roles of increasing responsibility, including service manager and operations manager. He began work with our safety group in 2020.
David is a graduate of Indiana State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in safety management, and has an associate degree from Ivy Tech in building trades. David has also earned OSHA-30 certification.
The Personal Side
David and his wife have two children. They enjoy watching their children play sports and spend their free time riding off-road vehicles.
