As Division Manager for the refrigeration group, Justin supports sales, engineering, and cost estimating, as well as the refrigeration service department. He assists the engineering staff in determining the most economical and efficient system configurations required to meet the needs and budget constraints of our customers.
Justin also facilitates the selection of equipment and materials for the installation of glycol, chilled water, calcium chloride, CO2, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Expertise
Justin joined Shambaugh in 2013 as an experienced Mechanical Engineer. As a member of the Shambaugh refrigeration team, Justin has combined his mechanical engineering experience with his knowledge of industrial refrigeration to add value to our customers.
Additionally, Justin has experience in estimating, system design, project engineering, system commissioning and operational support.
In 2022, Justin transitioned into his current role as Refrigeration Division Manager which encompasses leadership responsibilities for both the Fort Wayne and Indianapolis locations.
Justin has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana. He has participated in additional ammonia refrigeration classes at the University of Wisconsin, and is a current member of the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration, the Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association, and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
He has worked with many high-profile clients, such as Pepsi Company, Cayuga, Creekstone Farms, and Echo Lake Foods, to name a few.
The Personal Side
Justin and his wife have two children. In his free time, he is an avid bow hunter and loves fishing, gardening, watching Ohio State football, and spending time with this family.
