Gary manages and coordinates total turnkey design-build projects for the mechanical, food, and refrigeration divisions within the national process group. He is responsible for the operations of all project management resources, field operations, mechanical, industrial and commercial sales as well as Shambaugh’s state-of-the-art mechanical and plumbing fabrication shops.

Expertise

Gary has nearly 30 years of experience with Shambaugh in mechanical contracting. He joined Shambaugh as a field installer of HVAC equipment and quickly moved to estimating and project and construction management. His recent project experience includes working for valued clients including General Motors, Schreiber Foods, Edy's Grand Ice Cream, and others.

Gary earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration from Terra Technical College. He is an Indiana Certified UST Installer and has continued his mechanical engineering education through Purdue University Fort Wayne, Mechanical Contractors Association of America, and Fails Management Institute. Gary is currently President of the Fort Wayne Chapter of theMechanical Contractors Association of Indiana, serving on the Labor Negotiations Committee and Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee.

The Personal Side

Gary served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1977 to 1981 and is a founder of the Warrior Breed Motorcycle Club, an organization dedicated to fundraising and supporting U.S. Veterans through PTSD awareness, suicide prevention outreach, and charity events.
