Jeff McNamara

Vice President, National EV Battery and Detroit/Toledo Fire Protection

Jeff plays a key role in our fire protection operations in Detroit and Toledo and, nationally, leads all of our electrical vehicle (EV) battery projects. He oversees both operating locations and all lithium-ion battery projects from sales and design through final installation.

In these roles, Jeff is focused on driving success across all market segments while sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction. He also collaborates with the executive management team to develop and implement plans to accommodate our organization’s growth.

Expertise

Jeff joined Shambaugh Fire Protection as a designer, then moved on to various roles of increasing responsibility—including sales, engineering, and system start-ups—before becoming a branch manager for both our Detroit and Toledo offices.

Jeff earned his associate’s degree in architectural engineering technologies from ITT Technical Institute, Fort Wayne, IN and is Level IV NICET certified. Additional professional certifications, training accolades, and memberships include:

  • OSHA 10- and 30-hour training

Jeff has worked on various project types, including both commercial and industrial, utilizing wet, dry, pre-action, deluge foam, CO2, Halon, FM-200, Novec, high-pressure water mist, and Vortex systems.
