Doug helps to ensure that all estimates are timely and accurate, systems are properly designed for maximum performance, projects are managed efficiently, systems and equipment are properly installed, and all personnel are fully trained, licensed, and certified.
During the design and bidding process, Doug evaluates the feasibility, economics, and practicality of each design and periodically conducts ongoing quality control reviews. During reviews, he combines his technical expertise and engineering knowledge to evaluate the total design and build process.
In all his work, Doug strives to deliver projects that give clients high-performance systems the value they expect from a leading electrical solutions provider.
Doug has nearly three decades of electrical construction industry experience, ranging from commercial to industrial as well as healthcare construction and management. He began his career as an apprentice in 1991 and moved onto various roles of increasing responsibility, including General Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, Senior Project Manager, and Operations Manager.
Over the course of his career, Doug has gained a unique perspective on the industry, developing expertise in field installation, project management, estimating, financial management, and more. His diverse work portfolio and management background features design-build and plan-spec projects ranging from a few thousand dollars to multi-million-dollar contracts.
Doug maintains his status as a Journeyman Inside Wireman with IBEW Local 305, holding a master’s license.
Doug and his wife have three children and two grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, traveling, and outdoor activities of all types.
