Dan is devoted to making sure all personnel involved perform the task at hand in the safest and most efficient way possible. He has worked his entire life in HVAC/ Plumbing/Service industry and brings unique expertise to his position because of the years of both doing the work and managing the work. During Dan’s 40 plus years, he has worked as helper, service tech, pipe fitter, plumber, sheet metal worker, project foreman, project manager, general foreman, operations manager and service manager. Dan has a true understanding of the service and small job challenges.
He feels a well-educated work force is the only way to make our sites safe.
Dan is a Journeymen Pipe Fitter with over 40 years of trade experience. With numerous trade certifications including United Association Instructor training program completion; Dan trains instructors nationally for the UA. From the beginning of his career Dan has been interested in the safest way to do any task. As trade instructor, he began teaching refrigeration theory, and was the primary safety instructor for the training program with which he was involved and has conducted OSHA10- and 30-hour courses as an authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor.
Dan has brought that love of teaching to the Shambaugh Corporate Safety Team and has been known to say “I prefer to teach you how to do it safely before the act rather than after”.
The Personal Side
Dan is married and has one daughter. He enjoys traveling and photography and is an avid numismatists. Dan is a history buff and loves to combine all of his hobbies into trips with his family.
