Senior Vice President, Fire Protection
As Senior Vice President of Shambaugh’s Fire Protection Division, it is Todd’s responsibility to ensure each construction project results in the kind of high-performance solutions clients need for optimum operation, reliability and value. He also ensures safety policies are communicated and implemented, employees receive the training they need to keep their expertise up to date, and Shambaugh’s construction services and automated Fire Protection Fabrication is maintained at the highest levels. The result is projects delivered consistently on-time and on-budget to clients’ most demanding expectations.
Todd has over 35 years of experience in the Fire Protection industry. He has served in varying capacities within Shambaugh’s corporate structure for 27 years and has moved through various roles of increasing responsibility in the Fire Protection Division including Designer in the Engineering Department, Sales Engineer throughout Northern Indiana, and most recently, for 21 years, Branch Manager of Shambaugh’s Chicago Fire Protection Division.
In addition to Todd’s degrees from both ITT Technical Institute and North Lake Community College, he has participated in a variety of educational programs gaining certifications from Oklahoma State University School of Technology, in Hydraulic Calculations and Alarm and Detection, as well as from National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), Senior Engineering Technician in Fire Protection Layout Design. He is a Certified Responsible Managing Employee for Fire Protection, State of Texas, RME #240 and a Certified Fire Protection Individual to Practice Fire Protection Design, State of South Carolina, #004. Todd has been a Member of the Illinois Fire Prevention Association, Metropolitan Chicago Area since 1994 and a Member and Officer, of NFSA’s Chicago Chapter since 1996, holding the office of Chapter Treasurer since 2000.
